I'm a software engineer with a background that bridges two worlds: a decade in chemical manufacturing operations along Louisiana's industrial corridor, and six-plus years of professional software craftsmanship.
Those ten years in manufacturing weren't just technical — they were leadership. Managing teams, running operations, navigating safety-critical systems, and making decisions under real constraints. That experience shapes everything I build today: practical, reliable, built for people who don't have time for things that break.
On the software side, I practice clean code, SOLID principles, and test-driven development — the kind of engineering discipline that delivers systems which hold up under real conditions, not just demos.
